The importance to do activities pre-telling

Before reading a little story or tale to our pupils, it is important to do some activities which we know as “Activities for pre-telling”. These activities will help us to teach our children different aspects from the story, like vocabulary or some images that they will see in the book.

For this reason I thought it could be a good idea to show in this post some activities to do at class:

Vocabulary: With this activity we want that our children learn some specific vocabulary from the story. It consists to do some targets in which there will be some pictures from this vocabulary and in the assembly we will show them to children and they will have to repeat the pronunciation of it. 

Work-sheet: We will give to our pupils some work-sheets in which there will be some images that they have learnt before with the other activity and they will have to match with their name.
