Foam Heart Photo Frame

This quick and easy foam heart photo frame uses pre-cut bought foam hearts. It is a quick and easy gift idea for all sorts of occasions, and if you stick a magnet to the back, looks great on the fridge!

You will need:
Pink, red and white craft foam hearts (you can cut your own but it is easy to pick up bags of die-cut shapes)
Pink craft foam
Glue
Photo (passport size)
Card
Magnet
Double sided sticky tape
Glue

Instructions:
Cut out a heart shape from the pink foam. Now cut out a smaller heart from the middle. Don't worry too much about the shape as it will be covered up.
Glue the foam hearts to the heart frame, overlapping them and covering all of the frame. Leave to dry.
When the glue is dry use double sided sticky tape to stick your photo to the back of the frame.
Cut a piece of card the same size as the frame and stick it on to the back with double sided tape.
Finally glue a magnet on to the middle of the card.

Love you song.

Love Bracelets

Quick and simple to make, these little Love Bracelets make great Valentine's Day gifts for friends, family and sweethearts!

You will need:
Craft foam (in pink, purple or red)
Hook and eye fasteners
Foam stickers (hearts, flowers and letters) or other embellishments
Instructions:
Cut a rectangle of craft foam 1 inch wide and long enough to go around your wrist with an inch to spare. If you like you can cut the edges of the rectangle into a pattern.
Stick the eye fastening to one end of the front of the bracelet, and stick the hook fastening to the back of the bracelet at the other end.
Decorate with the foam stickers or other embellishments.
Idea:
Leave the hook and eye fastener off and give them as a valentine bookmark!

Hearts with Sequins

We found these lovely large sequins at the local craft store and snapped them up! With them we have made some very pretty, but simple, home-made Valentine's Day cards.

Valentine Cards with sequins

Fold a simple piece of white (or pink) card in two and get your children sticking! We used school glue and exercised lots of  restraint! Younger children can cover the page with as many sequins as they like - usually the more the better.
For the card on the right, we cut a simple square out of our red gingham scrapbook paper to use as a mount.
